To use IMEN Virus-Finder follow these steps:

1. Notice that the diskette is Write Protect, and never do change its mode to avoid being infected.

2. Insert the diskette in drive A: (or B:).

3. You can run IMEN Virus-Finder in one of these cases:

IMENSCAN

IMENSCAN [Drive1:] [Drive2:] .... [Options]

Available Options:

/ALL

/NOBEEP

/BOOT

Check all files (i.e. including data files & etc.)

Do not generate any sound when a virus is found.

Check boot sector and partition table only.

4. For easy use of software, you can copy the virus finder executable file on hard disk and run the software from there.

5.To check the files automatically while system rebooting process, you could copy IMENSCAN.EXE file in drive C: and then add the following command to the end of AUTOEXEC.BAT file to check all files of mentioned drives:

IMENSCAN[Drive1:][Drive2:]....[Options]

6.  If you find a virus, use IMEN Virus Killer diskette to clean it.
